As a project in pursuit of a greater level of global communication, I took thousands of travel photographs from a Chicago-based travel agency, and made them into post cards by affixing a sticker on the back written in 5 different languages. The sticker read:
"Where are you now?
Where would you be if you were not here?
iwishyouwereherewithme.com "
The addressee was already scribed as
"Jared Hatch Studio
245 W North Ave
Loft #201
Chicago IL 60610
USA"
I left these post cards on trains, planes, buses, in stations, halls and museums. The Post card shown is at the box office for the Louisiana Museum of Art in Denmark near the universal graphic symbols vinylized on the window.
iwishyouwereherewitme.com is no longer existent.
