Discovery Museum in Milwaukee is so great! Check out the scale model of all the Great Lakes and surrounding cities complete with live aquaculture, rainstorms from the ceiling, nighttime, great storm sound effects and city streetlights. The huge antique cargo ship hanging from the atrium is great too (you can climb inside this). Maybe you'd visit to meditate by the living wall being misted by foggers, or go for the 2-story contracting / expanding kinetic double helix sculpture. When you get bored with all of this you can lay on the hydraulic bed of nails (next to the model of a nuclear reactor, of course)
